Wissam Najjar was born in Lebanon and immigrated to the United States in 1989 at the age of 9. He has lived in Dearborn, Michigan since his arrival to the U.S. Wissam graduated from Fordson High School and later went on to attend Henry Ford Community College and University of Michigan-Dearborn, where he obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science. After graduation, Wissam has worked in the Metro Detroit Area for his entire career. He worked at Oakwood Hospital, Quicken Loans and currently at Ally Bank.
Wissam is the father of three children, two of which are diagnosed with autism. Wissam and his wife Mariam, who is also a co-founder of Blue Hands United wanted to make a difference for families affected by autism and therefore started the organization with a couple of their close friends who also have a passion to serve the autism community.
